Research & Development Lab Technician

As part of our growing lab team of technicians and analysts, you will work on improving our probiotic bacteria and probiotic formulations. The research is initiated by various departments, such as Technical Product Development, Microbial Discovery & Development, and Sales, all of which rely on the Winclove laboratory in different ways. Your lab expertise is essential for ensuring smooth and effective research outcomes. In addition, you’ll conduct screenings for these departments to better understand the properties of our bacterial strains. You’ll also contribute to developing and validating new methods for the quality control lab.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Conducting microbiological analyses to investigate and compare the properties of products, individual strains, or the effectiveness of specific ingredients.
• Measuring bacterial activity using a gastrointestinal survival apparatus.
• Processing and reporting data.
• Assisting in the development and validation of new research methods.
• Participating in various company-wide projects, which may include standard analyses or one-off screenings.
