Facility Officer

Your role
This year we moved to a new location in North Amsterdam and as an organisation we have grown and changed considerably. Our new place, with a modern production environment, requires a professional and structured approach to our facility processes.
As Facility Officer, you will be responsible for various operational and tactical tasks within our facilities domain. You will ensure that our internal customers are efficiently and effectively supported in areas such as: accommodation, building management, events, facility projects, service desk management and contract management. The Facility Officer reports to the Head of Facility & Hospitality and delegates tasks to reception, security and suppliers we hire services from, among others.
Your main duties are:
- Management of contracts (soft services and partly hard services).
- Coordination and execution of facility services, IT tasks, technical maintenance and issuance of IT assets.
- Management and (re)set-up of FMIS (Ultimo).
- Preparing budgets and checking invoices.
- Planning maintenance activities.
- Contributing to the drafting of policy and protocol issues.
- Performing small projects and relocations.
- Experience with certifications, including ISO 9002.
What do we ask of you?
You have excellent organisational skills and can handle several tasks simultaneously. Picking up ad hoc issues and prioritising are no problem for you. You are not afraid to delegate when necessary and have natural leadership skills.In addition, you have:
- at least a completed college education, preferably Facilities Services or Higher Hotel School;
- experience in a similar position;
- good command of the Dutch language (oral and written) and basic English;
- insight into organisational and functional relationships;
- skills in complaint handling and customer-friendly communication with third parties;
- experience with FMIS, such as Ultimo;
- flexibility and a structured work approach.
